(DU SKA NOG SE ATT DET GÅR ÖVER), Cecilia Neant-Falk / ŠVÉ, 2003
Swedish version, 74 min
Three Swedish teenagers, My, Joppe and Natalie, are attracted by girls. All three of them struggle with 'coming out' and hide their orientation, since the local people in their hometowns are homophobic and simply any difference is suspicious. The name of the film Don't You Worry, It Will Probably Pass perfectly describes the tension. For the sake of absolute thruthfulness in the depiction of the girls' coming out among her parents, siblings and friends, the director let the girls to take camera and shoot videos about their background themselves. The result is truly touching documentary full of forbidden feelings, hidden desires and fears.
