In his 17th film Pedro Almodovar returns (volver means return) to his own roots, to his homeland "La Mancha" - the country of common strong winds spreading wildfires. One of those killed parents of Raimunda and Sole, sisters of different temperament but similar destiny. A film about the survival of women over three generations is one of the authors gratest (deepest) returns to childhood according to his own words. Starring: Penélope Cruz, Lola Dueñas, Carmen Maura.
