Marina sells junk on the flea market, her daughter Ada is a student, their grandmother Eka enjoys occasional phone calls from her son Otar who lives in faraway Paris. Suddenly Otar dies. Marina and Ada decide to keep this information away from their grandmother and continue to write her letters which are seemingly from Otar. But one day Eka decides to visit her son in Paris.
