The Constant Gardener

A brutally murdered activist Tessa Quayle is found in a remote part of Kenya. Her husband, who is member of the British directorate in African Nairobi, decides to investigate the mysterious murder on his own. In order to find out the truth, he must set out on a voyage through his wife’s past which is marked by reproaches and traumas from his wife’s love affaires. Step by step he starts to uncover a huge conspiracy. The film is a suspense thriller seasoned with emotional drama. It is based on a novel by John le Carré, a former member of British Foreign Service.
