original version / Czech and English subtitles, 78 min

When Spike Joneze made his first feature film Being John Malkovich (1999), he was considered, alongside Michel Gondry and Chris Cunningham, one of the most original music video directors of the decade. His unusual feature debut instantly catapulted him among the most distinctive directors of his generation. Three years ago, after having completed two more feature films (Adaptation and Where the Wild Things Are), he took a new direction and started making short films. The four shorts he has completed since then are each very different, yet they bear the same unmistakable hallmark of wild imagination, unbridled playfulness, soft romanticism and unparalleled soundtrack.
