Korean / English subtitles, 116 min

In the oppressive, politically absurd South Korea of the 1960s, a timid and simple barber reports a North Korean spy to the police and is suddenly appointed the presidential barber. His life as a barber and a father is changed in a bitter way. This f ilm is synchronizing a family drama set in a small barbershop and the history of politics and society beautifully. It has attracted attention for its solid structure and unconventional ideas and characters. Film was awarded with Audience Award at this year’s edition of Tokyo International Film festival.

Lim Chan-sang was born in 1969, President’s Barber is his feature debut.
