Astad Deboo is one of India's leading contemporary dancers and is known for his path breaking work with disadvantaged youth. In 2009-10 he began working with a group of youth from Salaam Baalak, an organisation that looks after the interests of street children in New Delhi. The film documents the intensive interaction. The young dancers, brought up on Bollywood-style dancing, talk about their first encounter with contemporary dance, and what it means to their lives.
