Mambo Italiano

The film was made afer a play by Steve Gallucio, who is the film‘s co- screenwriter, together with Emile Gaudreault, a well known sitcom writer. Mambo Italiano is close in genre to My Fat Greek Wedding. The story follows Angel, the son of italian immigrants to Canada, who strives to become a screenwriter and to come to terms with his sexual preference. The story escalates when Angel moves out of his parent‘s house, an unspeakable thing for an unmarried Italian, and when the secret of his intimate relationship with his roommate is let out of the bag.
