A critically acclaimed independent film, tells the story of Raghuveer a student, and soon to be IAS officer, at Delhi University. Distraught by his parents’ reaction to his plans to marry his accidentally pregnant girlfriend, Raghuveer leaves home early to return to Delhi University. En route, he is abducted by another man determined to have him marry his daughter, a girl he has never met. Raghuveer is married at a gun point, the newly-weds are locked up in a room until they consummate their marriage… Groom kidnapping was a prevalent malpractice in Bihar until some years ago. Not so much any more.
