(The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle), David Russo / USA, 2009
English version / translated into Czech, 98 min
This bizarre story about immaculate conception in a world ruled by international corporations is a deliriously absurd take on social order and rebellion. A couple of cleaners become unwilling lab rats of an unscrupulous company that wants to put a bio-chemically engineered dessert on the market. The heroes get addicted to the sneakily presented hallucinogenic sweets and the side effects do not take long to hit. In addition to a bewitching story, the film is addictively dynamic, attacking the sterile fair of American independent productions with the daring zeal of experimental films and music videos.
