On 5 February 1956 at the National Film Theatre the group of young filmmakers screened their films that were made outside the framework of the film industry The first program of movement which is known as Free Cinema included these three pictures: Lindsay Anderson´s O Dreamland (1953) about the amusements at the Dreamland funfair, Margate, Karel Reisz´s and Tony Richardson´s Momma Don't Allow (1956) about an evening at the Wood Green Jazz Club and Lorenza Mazzetti´s Together (1956), an experimental film about the East End of London seen through the lives of two deaf-mutes, who share a room in a boarding house.
