Arthur Seaton, character of the film based on the novel by Alan Sillitoe, is one of angry young men in post-war Britain. He spent each Sunday at local pub, as a rest after working in the factory for the whole for very modest money. His numerous love affairs bring him distraction, but also the need to face up his acts and assume the responsibility.
