The film whose genre is closest to sad comedy. During the course of one day and one night the fates of a number of residents of Brno, the large small-town, mingle and become interwoven. After a year long correspondence Standa Pichlík, a slightly retarded main protagonist, is about to visit his lover Olinka Šimáková who is similarly disabled. They are planning to spend the night together. Is everything going to work out fro them?
