Cilie and her boyfriend Martin, an egoist and unfulfilled translator, are the main characters of this love story about slow yet steady loss of ideals. On the background of everyday life’s monotony and Martin’s inability to finish his translations unfolds a story of belated honeymoon trip taken too late. The story starts in Prague and ends in Trieste. As large ships plough thought the dark waves at night, Cilie must decide.
