Young missionary protecting the rights of minorities and a veteran of Vietnam have become federal agents obssesed by protecting USA. They meet right after the attacts of 09-11. This seemingly anti-american film is a reaction to the bad politics of the Bush government. Wenders does not want to criticise, but to show true human tragedy and the way to appraoch it. Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and others participated in the music to the film.
