This section traditionally shows films that did well at prestigious film festivals and scored highly with academic juries. It offers a unique opportunity to sample the quality of contemporary short film production and the taste and preferences of the festival world. On top of that, the five films in this section are an excellent chance to get to know filmmakers who may soon be deciding what we see in the movies. This year’s Panorama includes the student Oscar winner, the best European short film selected by the European Film Academy and award winning films from Cannes, Berlin and Sundance.
