Präsentiert werden sechs außergewöhnliche Filme deutscher Studenten, die im letzten Jahr entstanden sind. Erwarten kann man einzigartige Techniken, unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen an die verschiedenen Genres, brilliante gesellschaftliche und psychologische Studien und formale Spielereien. Die abwechslungsreiche Auswahl entspricht der Länge eines normalen Spielfilms und umfasst Filme aus allen Genres. Der Kurator für die Auswahl ist der Programmrat des Festivals Fresh Film Fest.

This section showcases six extraordinary German student films made in the past year. They comprise excellent techniques, combinations of approaches and genres, brilliant social and psychological studies as well as a formal playfulness. This varied selection does not last longer than a standard feature film, and it includes works from all genres. The committee in charge of selecting the films is the Programme Board of the Fresh Film Fest.
