The extensive subsection called NonComm provides ample space for public service announcements. Apart from being a short, funny and refreshing treat for the audience, public service announcements are a very interesting and effective communication tool that merits systematic attention.
A choice of 30 of the newest social advertisements from around the world, a historical retrospective archived by Amnesty International, the best Czech spots listed in the Louskáček competition, or a demonstration of works by the well regarded international network advertising agency BBDO.
Also, the winning spots from one of the most prestigious competitions of the Old World festival for the last ten years will be shown. The competition is held by the non-profit London organisation D&AD (Design and Advertising). Films by the RSF organisation will be included as well. They are noticeably engaged on the subject of Cuba and collaborate with the organisation People In Need.
