Work at Bio Oko, more than an occupation, it is a mission for me, an activity with a sense and high level of usefulness. It could be the wide offer of fine films or other cultural and humanity-enriching events and performances we offer and show; it could be a café latté or other kinds of well-prepared and well-served coffee during a calm Sunday afternoon or a beer/lemonade/wine when a little wilder evening is happening; it is a community, colleagues, visitors, regulars or random by-passers/comers and goers - all this and way way more gives you the Oko cinema, bioscope, that you really are not afraid to introduce to your parents. According to increasing responses we keep seeing our guests' satisfaction, they are arriving, they schmooze and more and more often they are coming back, which we (talking for the Bio Oko bar-staff) pretty much like and it's why we keep trying to improve our services and to fine-tune them the most we are able to. I personally and immodestly think it is because of our music selection we play in the barplace; the enjoyable and inspiring atmosphere is foremost caused by this kind of element - that's why we are really taking care of what we choose and play; the audioarchive is gradually extending itself and the quality is rising, and above all, we are totally enjoying it and we hope, and we see, that you're enjoying it with us. For all this and for all the other aspects and points that our fantastic functionalist building is hiding in itself, do not hesitate, dear cinemaphiles or you beerlovers, to spend a little more time in our Oko bar, we're pretty sure you will not regret it (hopefully not even the morning after), we are looking forward to meeting you again in The Eye (of the hurricane?).
